| Well Hi! Hey, I'm Chris (screenname gameripper). I'm 17 living in Harpenden and am studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and English at St George's School 6th Form. Art is such a strong word Most of my work I do in 3d programs. My main tool of the trade is 3ds Max (which I recently upgraded to 2010) however I've recently begun learning Vue 7 xStream which I have been able to integrate well with Max. I also use Photoshop CS4 to do postwork on all my pieces and After Effects CS4 for any animations I make. I have virtually no skill in any conventional art and I can draw about as well as a rabid monkey. Most of my 3d work focuses on a believable realism, I try and make the piece look real even if the content is clearly not. I have also made websites in the past and am no stranger to Dreamweaver of CSS/Html/PHP coding. I also recently taught a techique to SkeletorFW in photoshop which he will be making a tutorial of soon. Actually doing stuff At the moment I have a few projects. I am touching up and finishing my Vue piece "Blackvein Mountain" which I will be releasing here soon and hope to get printed. I am also working on the FPSBanana Megamod where I am main storyline writer for the Concept Department, Modeller for the Skinning Department and member of the GFX and Video Department. I am currently working on a weapon for this project (Breakclaw LRG) which can be seen in the second of the Megamod Media Releases. Media Release 1 - Media Release 2 - Please remember a lot is exluded or old info in these releases. All faction descriptions par one are written by yours truly. I am setting up to begin work on a second Vue piece soon set in a more urban atmosphere which will act as inspiration for the Megamods Mappers. |
